NewsOne Nigeria reports that Pastor Tunde Bakare, who is the General Overseer of the Citadel Global Church in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, disclosed his dream of becoming President of Nigeria while addressing reporters on Tuesday in Lagos.
The cleric gave assurance that he will succeed his friend and incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
According to Pastor Tunde Bakare: “There is something called destiny. I am not one to hide under the umbrella of one finger and make ambition look like vision, I do not camouflage.
“It is not a matter of life and death, but you can write it down. As the Lord lives, and as I am given the opportunity, the day will come, like Joe Biden, that I will be the President of Nigeria.”
Pastor Tunde Bakere was a former running mate to Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 presidential election in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Bakare’s comment on the possibility of emerging as Nigeria’s President in 2023 is coming barely a week after Joe Biden, a former US Vice Prsident and candidate of the Democratic Party acquired the 270 electoral college votes required to win the US election defeating US President Donald Trump who has alleged voters fraud and vowed to challenge the results.
