This represents a change of 0.08%.

The local currency opened at N550.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Wednesday, 10 November 2021, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed N565.00 per $1 on Tuesday,  9 November 2021.

Even though the dollar to naira opened in the parallel market at ₦550 per $1 today, Newsone reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market. The apex bank has therefore directed anyone who requires forex to approach their bank, insisting that the I&E window is the only known exchange.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the black market, the players buy a dollar for N545 and sell for N560 on Wednesday morning, November 8=10, 2021 after they bought N560 and sold N565 on Tuesday morning, November 9, 2021 .

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the USD started this week at ₦565 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, November 8, 2021 in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened the same price last week Monday, November 1, 2021.
