APC’s Usman Ododo Beats Dino Melaye, Ajaka To Win Kogi Governorship Election

Usman Ododo has defeated Dino Melaye and Ajaka to win the Kogi Governorship Election.

Newsone reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigeria’s electoral umpire, has declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State, Usman Ododo as the winner of the Kogi Governorship Election 2023.

“Ahmed Usman Ododo of APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” he said.

Newsone Nigeria reports that Usman Ododo won with 446,237 votes, defeating his closest rival, Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who scored 259,052. Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 46,362 votes.
