A report sighted on Sahara Reporters by NewsOne Nigeria, said Boko Haram terrorists are currently attacking Ngala in Borno State, northeast Nigeria.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the attack comes less than 24 hours after the insurgents pounced on Kirchinga under Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State on Monday night, April 6, razing no fewer than five houses.

It was learned that the Boko Haram insurgents launched the attack after they emerged from Rann near the border with Cameroon in Northern Borno State.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria had reported earlier that Chadian troops led by President Idriss Debby crushed Boko Haram, freeing Nigerian soldiers in the process.

The Chadian troops dealt a major blow on Boko Haram insurgents, following the killing of 100 of its members in Magumeri, a local government in the northern part of Borno. The northeastern Nigerian state is the major hotbed of the Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria.

According to West Africa Reporters, Nigerian soldiers in the Boko Haram captivity were freed on Sunday, April 5. The report quoted sources from the Lake Chad region as saying that the Chadian soldiers are hitting the Boko Haram insurgents hard.

The report said the insurgents were fleeing and that President Idriss Déby has been moving around in a chopper to monitor Boko Haram destruction. Deby ordered the operation after the terror group killed over 90 soldiers in Boma nearly two weeks ago.

The Chadian President called it the worst attack ever on the country’s military and vowed to ensure the crush of Boko Haram around the Lake Chad region. There are over 20 villages in the area.

On Saturday, the Chadian soldiers destroyed the sect’s bases, killed several insurgents and recovered hundreds of weapons. It was learned that a top Boko Haram commander was also arrested during the onslaught carried out by the Chadian troops.

After the attack by the Chadian Army led by the President of the country, audio emerged of the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau begging Boko Haram fighters not to quit the war front.
