Bomb Explodes In Buhari’s Katsina, Kills Children, Others

A bomb has exploded in President Muhammadu Buhari’s country home, Katsina state, killing children in the process.

NewsOne Nigeria understands that the bomb explosion which occurred at Yammama village in Malumfashi local government area of Katsina state, northern Nigeria, on Saturday killed no fewer than six people

A report on the TheCable quoted a source to have said that the bomb was planted inside a farm in the village. Many persons who sustained injuries in the attack are currently receiving treatment at General Hospital in Malumfashi, the report added.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Gambo Isah, confirmed the incident but did not give details.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, no group has claimed responsibility for the bomb explosion in Katsina where armed bandits have killed many residents.
