IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu is not dead as speculated by Kemi Olunloyo.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that Kemi Olunloyo had taken to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to announce that Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was dead. She, however, noted that she was yet to confirm the report.

The controversial journalist also known as “Snitch lady” had tweeted: “#BREAKING Reports that Nnamdi Kanu has died. This is one strong news I cannot authenticate. Kanu or IPOB will have to debunk this. I hope he’s fine. Good luck to everyone Crying face.”

However, a fact check by NewsOne Nigeria, shows that the IPOB leader is “hale and hearty” and would address Biafrans in a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on  Wednesday, April 22 by 7 pm Nigerian time.

Confirming that Nnamdi Kanu is not dead, a top IPOB coordinator in the abroad, told NewsOne Nigeria that Kemi Olunloyo’s claim is a piece of fake news.

“It’s fake news, please ignore that woman,” the IPOB coordinator told our reporter.

Affirming the statement by the IPOB coordinator, Kanu tweeted after Olunloyo’s tweet, saying: “Aso Rock has collapsed, its loot & burn cabal in disarray. Hungry masses waiting to extract long-overdue justice.
