Nigeria has again recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday morning, April 5.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the ten coronavirus cases recorded on Sunday morning, 6 were detected in Lagos and 2 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and 2 in Edo State, southern Nigeria.

The  NCDC tweeted: Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo. As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus has risen to two hundred and twenty-four (224) with twenty-seven (27) people discharged and five (5 ) deaths recorded.
