Sunday Igboho poisoned, a new report has claimed.

Newsone reports that Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, who is agitating for Yoruba Nation, has been poisoned in Benin prison.

This online news platform understands that Sunday Igboho poisoned news was disclosed a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, self-proclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo.

“#BREAKING Sunday lgboho has been poisoned in a Cotonou prison. His kidney function is deteriorating and Yoruba Nation is silent. Where is the cash donated for him? Cotonou authorities need to be questioned on what he consumed. He had a healthy kidney before arrest. #Kemitalks”, she tweeted.

Newsone reports that Olunloyo’s comments are coming shortly after the Yoruba activist’s lawyer, Yomi Aliyu raised alarm over his health condition. On October 14th, Aliyu revealed that Igboho was rushed to a hospital for urgent medical attention after his health deteriorated.

Sunday Igboho’s lawyer had revealed that one of Igboho’s organs (Kidney) might have been affected as a result of injuries he sustained when he reportedly fell while attempting to escape from gunmen that invaded his Soka residence in Ibadan on July 1, this year.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that Sunday Igboho also recently issued a warning to the general public that he has not asked anyone, any of his security or groups of people to demand money towards his medical treatment in the Benin Republic.
