Burna Boy has replied to his critics over his proposed free Burkina Faso Concert.
Newsone Nigeria reports that Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy has responded to the backlash that followed his proposal to hold a free concert in Burkina Faso.
This online news platform understands that the response came after critics mocked the initiative and claimed the President of Burkina Faso allegedly rejected him.
Burna Boy defended his intentions and criticized those questioning his motives in an Instagram Story. According to him, his actions are guided by principle, not personal gain.
The Grammy-winning artist said he was shocked by the surprisingly negative and offensive comments from some individuals.
“I have nothing to gain from anybody. I don’t owe anyone anything, but that never stopped me from doing the great work I do. My integrity is unquestionable. Therefore, burn in hell if you said anything negative,” Burna Boy wrote.
