Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 176 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

NCDC has confirmed 176 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday evening, 9th September 2020, confirmed 176 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 55,456 which includes 43,334 discharged cases and 1,067 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Plateau State and Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.
