Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 197 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

NCDC has confirmed 197 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday evening, 10th September 2020, confirmed 197 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 55,829 which includes 43,810 discharged cases and 1,075 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with Plateau recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Lagos and Kaduna State, northern Nigeria.
