EBS Rising: Celebrating 100 Days Of Exceptional Leadership By Malcolm Osarumwense Okundaye

I will start from the summary of the whole matter “Taking Edo to the World and Bringing the World to the Good People of Edo.”

It is with great pleasure and pride that I extend heartfelt congratulations to Sulaiman Aledeh on the remarkable milestone of 100 days in office as the Managing Director of Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS).

First and foremost, we give thanks to Allah for the gift of life, good health, and the wisdom bestowed upon our working Governor, whose vision and foresight led to the appointment of Sulaiman Aledeh — a man destined to rescue and reposition EBS for greatness.

In just 100 days, Sulaiman Aledeh has demonstrated what true leadership looks like – practical, impactful, and progressive. This is not mere political rhetoric; it is an undeniable reality witnessed by all. As Last Eguaevon aptly said, “Sulaiman Aledeh is a great man.” This statement rings true, for both ears have heard, and eyes have seen the transformation taking place. Seeing is Believing and Believing is seeing.

Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the incredible achievements under his leadership:

✊🏿 Return to Terrestrial Broadcasting:
After more than 100 days off the air, EBS triumphantly returned to terrestrial broadcasting — a bold step forward, made possible by Sulaiman Aledeh’s relentless efforts.

✊🏿 Renovation and Revitalization:
Significant renovations have taken place within EBS, with more still in progress — a testament to the rebranding and modernization agenda.

✊🏿Revival of Iheivbe Radio Station:
A milestone achievement — the revival of the Iheivbe radio station after a decade of neglect.

✊🏿 Staff Welfare and Salaries:
In less than 100 days, SA Aledeh ensured that newly recruited staff, who had faced months of uncertainty, received their salaries. Not a single staff member was relieved of their duties, fostering a sense of security and motivation within the workforce.

To those who once asked, “Can anything good come from EBS?” — the answer is clear:
“Come and See for Yourself — EBS is Rising!”

These 100 days have been marked by:

✊🏿Unstoppable progress

✊🏿Transformational leadership

✊🏿Bold rebranding

✊🏿Tangible results

But this is just the beginning. With Sulaiman Aledeh at the helm, EBS is on a steadfast journey towards even greater heights, marching boldly down the road to El Dorado.

So, to the skeptics, I echo these words:
“Dubitas! Venite et Videte.”
“You doubt? Come and see!”

As we celebrate this milestone, let us hold on to this powerful truth:
“Dum Spiro Spero.”
“As long as we breathe, there is hope.”

Hope for EBS.
Hope for Edo State.
Hope for us all.

Congratulations once again, Sulaiman Aledeh. Here’s to many more days of progress and success!
