Finally, Federal Government Increases NYSC Allawee To N77,000

The Federal Government has increased NYSC Allawee to N77,000.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has announced that corps members will receive a monthly allowance of N77,000 starting from February 2025.

This online news platform understands that the NYSC DG announced the new NYSC Allawee on Thursday while addressing Katsina’s 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members.

The National Youth Service Corps Director General explained that the increased allowance is included in the 2025 Federal Government budget.

“This month (January) has already concluded, but once the budget is passed, you will begin receiving N77,000 instead of the usual N33,000 next month (February),” he stated.

He emphasised that the increment was approved by the Federal Government and encouraged corps members to show their appreciation by committing fully to their service year.

The NYSC DG also reiterated his dedication to the welfare and security of corps members, assuring them they would not be deployed to areas with security concerns.

“We will not assign our corps members to locations with security threats. Rest assured that any place we send you will be safe and secure for your service,” he affirmed.
