Newsone Nigeria reports that the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria, NAFDAC Branch, has suspended its indefinite strike, which commenced on October 7, 2024, for one month.
This online news platform understands that MHWUN NAFDAC suspended its indefinite strike for one month after a productive meeting with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.
It was gathered that the decision to suspend the strike follows Ribadu’s acknowledgment of NAFDAC’s crucial role in national security and his commitment to expediting the approval process for the union’s demands. The National Security Adviser assured the union that he would work closely with the relevant authorities to secure the necessary approvals within the shortest possible time.
Speaking on the development in a statement, MHWUN NAFDAC Secretary, Com.
