Lagos coronavirus patient quarantined at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, attempted to escape from the facility on Friday, February 28.

NewsOne Nigeria recalls that the Lagos coronavirus patient, an Italian, was confirmed to have the virus on Friday morning, three days after he arrived in the country. He flew in from Milan, Italy, into Lagos before heading to Ogun state where he first showed symptoms of the disease.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), will lead “one million pro-Biafra activists” on a march for “freedom, civil and political rights” come June 2020, a circular by the secessionist group has revealed.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the circular said Kanu, who is currently on exile and “one million Biafrans” will march for freedom, civil and political rights on Saturday, June 20, 2020, in Washington DC, the United States of America (USA).

Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is in fresh trouble for asking state governors and members of the State Houses of Assembly to cut their salaries and emoluments by 50 per cent.
