1. President Buhari Dissolves Obono-Obla’s SPIP

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, September 17, dissolved the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP) as currently constituted by Okoi Obono-Obla. YaahooJournalist reports that this was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by The Special Adviser to President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

2. President Buhari Makes Fresh Appointments

President Muhammadu Buhari has made fresh appointments, which is the approval of the re-appointment of two of his Special Assistants on Media, attached to the Office of the Minister of Information and Culture. 3. FRSC Bars Dangote Trucks on Roads, See Time

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has directed the Dangote Group drivers not to ply any road in Nigeria from the hours of 7 pm to 7 am in what is a reaction to the incessant road crashes involving the company’s trucks. 4. Kwara Gov. Appoints 26-Year-Old Corper As Commissioner

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Miss Joana Nnazua Kolo, a serving 26-year-old female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), as a commissioner. YaahooJournalist reports that the 26-Year-old Youth Corper was among the four female commissioner-nominees whose names were forwarded to the Kwara State House of Assembly on Tuesday, September 17.

5. Governor Sanwo-Olu Makes Fresh Appointments For LAGESC

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has approved the appointment of a retired Commissioner of Police, Gbemisola Akinpelu, as the new Corps Marshal, of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC). YaahooJournalist reports that alongside Akinpelu’s appointment are the three Deputy Corps Marshals; Mr. Ganiyu Salami; Mr. Adeeso Adeleke, and Mr. Ganiyu Kazeem for the Control and Supervision of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps Members.
