Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie has commiserated with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, over the death of his father, Eze Israel Kanu.
YaahooJournalist had reported earlier that Eze Kanu’s death was confirmed by the traditional council of his community led by Edward Ibeabuchi.
One of his sons, Emmanuel, also confirmed the demise of his father but the IPOB leader, Kanu is yet to issue a statement regarding this.
YaahooJournalist reports that the late Eze Kanu was the traditional ruler of Afara Ukwu Umuahia community till his death.
Reacting to the death in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, Eddochie tweeted: “Do accept my condolences @MaziNnamdiKanu on the transition of your father Eze Isreal Kanu.
“May God Almighty grant you and your family the strength to bear,” the Nollywood actor tweeted.
Meanwhile, Eze Kanu was last seen in the public in September 2017, the month a detachment of soldiers raided his palace in Afaraukwu community, Abia State, Southeast Nigeria.
