Newsone reports that a member of vigilante group in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has been lynched over alleged blasphemy against Islam.

This online news platform understands that the incident that Muslim Youths burn man alive in Abuja occurred on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Timber shed market, Federal Housing Estate, Lugbe Abuja.

Newsone Nigeria reports that details of the incident are still sketchy as of press time but it was, however, learned that the news that Muslim Youths burn man alive, began when members of the vigilante group who were guarding the timber market, moved to arrest some residents wandering around the market.

Reports sighted by this news medium revealed that one of the vigilante members made a blasphemous comment when the residents were pleading with them “in the name of Allah.”

Newsone gathered that upon hearing the alleged comment, the mob descended on him, beat him up, and set him ablaze.

When contacted, the FCT Police Public Rations Officer, Josephine Adeh confirmed the incident. The  FCT Police Public Rations Officer pledged to give details in a statement shortly.
