2023 Presidency: Ozekhome Reveals Buhari’s Plan For Tinubu, Osinbajo
Mike Ozekhome (SAN), human rights activist, says President Muhammadu Buhari will soon ease out Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) loyal to Bola Tinubu, the National leader of the ruling party.
YaahooJournalist reports that Ozekhome made this comment in a chat with Daily Independent, on Tuesday, September 17.
Ozekhome alleged that the move is part of plans to make the two leaders feel unaccommodated in APC and ultimately discard them.
Ozekhome said the action is part of a grand plan on who will take over from President Buhari when his second term in office expires in 2023.
”One thing I want to assure Nigerians is that going by the trajectory of President Buhari’s persona, the VicePresident Yemi Osinbajo, and the Tinubu group will be rendered more and more impotent, unaccommodated and discarded.
“The battle for the heart and soul of 2023 has already earnestly begun. Read my lips,” he said.
Ozekhome’s claim is coming a few days after President Buhari replaced the Economic Management Team headed by the Vice President with an Economic Advisory Council and also dissolved the presidential asset recovery committee set up by Osinbajo when he was Nigeria’s Acting President.
Reports quote sources to have said that there is a growing rift between the president and the vice president occasioned by the build-up to the 2023 presidency but the presidency in a statement signed by Laolu Akande, spokesperson to Osinbajo debunked such claims.
