NewsOne Nigeria reports that a Second Republic member of the House of Representatives from Kano State, northern Nigeria, Junaid Mohammed is dead.

This online news platform understands that Junaid Mohammed died a few hours ago in Kano, northern Nigeria after suffering a brief illness.

Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari broke the news on the micro0-blogging site, Twitter.

The Presidential aide wrote: “Just saw it on Facebook that Dr. Junaid Mohammed has passed away. Oh Allah, people are dying in numbers these days, when our time comes, may Allah accept us, forgive our shortcomings and comfort our family and friends. Allah ya jikan Dr. Junaid Mohammed, Ya bawa iyalan sa hakuri.”
