NewsOne Nigeria reports that a tweet on Saturday after by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), revealed that the Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

“Nigeria officially qualify to the #TotalAFCON! The Super Eagles are soaring to Cameroon,” the tweet by CAF read.

This online news platform understands that the Super Eagles qualified for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) even before the kick off of their game against Benin Republic in Porto Novo slated later today by 5PM Nigerian time.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Super Eagles of Nigeria confirmed their place at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations following a goalless draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone in the early kick-off in Group L.
