Newsone Nigeria reports that former Nigerian Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan, popularly known as Mama Taraba is dead.

This online news platform understands that Mama Taraba died at age 61 in Cairo, Egypt.

Officials of the Peoples Democratic Party in Taraba State, northern Nigeria, also confirmed her death to one of our correspondents.
