Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Appears In Court Looking Sick [Photos]
Nnamdi Kanu has appeared in court looking sick.
Newsone reports that the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has arrived at the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, where he will stand trial on terrorism and treasonable felony charges.
Photos of Nnamdi Kanu in court obtained by Newsone Nigeria, shows that the IPOB leader is looking sick.
Newsone reports that Nnamdi Kanu among a convoy of about six vehicles driven into the court premises by Department of State Service (DSS) operatives around 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 21.
This online news platform understands that black Prado jeep led the convoy, which included two Hilux, two buses, and two more Hilux.
Prior to Kanu’s arrival, security personnel from the DSS, Nigerian Army, Police, and the NSCDC had cordoned off all entrances leading to the Federal High Court headquarters in Abuja.Even Federal High Court employees had to disembark from their staff bus to be screened before being allowed to enter.
Meanwhile, Newsone recalls that Nnamdi Kanu was arraigned along with four others in 2016 on a six-count criminal trial charge bordering on alleged terrorism and treasonable felony.
