Newsone reports that Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) deputy governorship candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election in Rivers State, southern Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nollywood actress thanked the governorship candidate of the ADC, Tonte Ibraye, for picking her up and added that she would invest massively in social protection, create a social value system for young people, and increase women’s inclusion in the government, among others.
