President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
YaahooJournalist reports that the President also met with the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
Buhari meets Atiku
It was learned that President Buhari met separately with the two governors in Abuja.
The President first met with Fayemi at his office before meeting with Atiku alongside the Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru.
NAN reports that the agenda of the two meetings were unknown to journalists at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, the meeting came the same day the President made ten appointments for the “Next Level” government.
President Buhari approved new appointments in line with fast-tracking the targets and mandate of the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
