NYSC Allowance 2020: YaahooJournalist has obtained the updated full list of highest paying states in Nigeria.

YaahooJournalist understands that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has reportedly approved a new monthly allowance for corps members.

Reports sighted on several online platforms, quoted the NYSC DG, Brig-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, to have confirmed the new approved NYSC allowance for corps members on Wednesday, January 8.

Though corp members are yet to affirm this as the January allowance has not been paid yet, we have, however, compiled a list of states and the amount the state governments pay corp members in various states in Nigeria.
Below is a list of highest paying states for NYSC in Nigeria

1. Lagos – Pays between N15,000 – N10,000

2. Rivers – Pays N15,000

3. Anambra – Pays N8,300

4. Delta – Pays N5,000

5. Cross River – Pays N5,000

6. Jigiwa – Pays N5,000

7. Sokoto – pays N5,000 but not monthly, it is paid in bulk at the end of the service year (N45,000 is paid by the State Government).

NOTE: Please, if you noticed something we missed or the amount paid has changed in the state you serve, kindly use the comment box to inform us.
