The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, presented Buba Galadima, a spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign Organisation, as its witness at the presidential tribunal sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Yaahoo Journalist reports that the PDP presented Galadima as one of its witnesses at the resumption of the tribunal sitting in Abuja on Monday, July 8.
Galadima’s appearance as a witness comes as a new twist adopted by the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who are challenging the February 23 election in which Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner.
Yaahoo Journalist that Galadima, a former chieftain of the R-APC, was formerly an ally in the Buhari camp and was one of the nine signatories that signed the merger agreement to form the APC.
