Nigeria has again recorded 6 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 6 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, April 5.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the six coronavirus cases recorded on Monday evening, 2 were detected in Kwara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Rivers and 1 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.BREAKING: Nigeria Records 6 New COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States

The  NCDC tweeted: “Six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 2 in Kwara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Rivers and 1 in the FCT As at 09:30 pm 6th April there are 238 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty-five have been discharged with five deaths.
“As at 09:30 pm 6th April, there are 238 confirmed cases 35 discharged 5 deaths For a breakdown of cases by state- http://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng Lagos- 120 FCT- 48 Osun- 20 Oyo- 9 Edo- 11 Bauchi- 6 Akwa Ibom- 5 Kaduna- 5 Ogun- 4 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-2 Benue- 1 Ondo- 1 Kwara- 2,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two hundred and thirty-eight (238) with thirty-five (35) people discharged and five (5 ) deaths recorded.
