BREAKING: Nigeria Records 22 New COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States

Nigeria has recorded 22 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 22 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, April 8.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the twenty-two coronavirus cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 15 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 4 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, 2 in Bauchi and 1 in Edo State, southern Nigeria.

The  NCDC tweeted: “Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo As at 09:00 pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Forty-four have been discharged with six deaths.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two hundred and seventy-six (276) with forty-four(44) people discharged and six (6 ) deaths recorded.
