Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 148 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 148 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday evening, May 5.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 148 COVID-19 cases recorded on Tuesday evening, 43 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 32-Kano 14-Zamfara 10-FCT 9-Katsina 7-Taraba 6-Borno 6-Ogun 5-Oyo 3-Edo 3-Kaduna 3-Bauchi 2-Adamawa 2-Gombe 1-Plateau 1-Sokoto 1-Kebbi, northern Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two thousand, nine hundred and fifty (2950) with four hundred and eighty-one (481) people discharged and ninety-eight (98) deaths recorded so far.
