Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 195 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 195 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, May 6.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 195 COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 82 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 30-Kano 19-Zamfara 18-Sokoto 10-Borno 9-FCT 8-Oyo 5-Kebbi 5-Gombe 4-Ogun 3-Katsina 1-Kaduna 1-Adamawa, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: 195 new cases of #COVID19; 82-Lagos 30-Kano 19-Zamfara 18-Sokoto 10-Borno 9-FCT 8-Oyo 5-Kebbi 5-Gombe 4-Ogun 3-Katsina 1-Kaduna 1-Adamawa 3145 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 534 Deaths: 103,” the tweet added.


Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to three thousand, one hundred and forty-five (3145) with five hundred and thirty-four(481) people discharged and one hundred and three (103) deaths recorded so far.
