President Tinubu fell while boarding the Presidential Parade Vehicle on Democracy Day.

Newsone Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu slipped at Eagles Square, the venue of the 2024 Democracy Day celebration on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

President Tinubu slipped while boarding the parade vehicle. He had approached the Presidential Parade Vehicle shortly after he arrived at the venue.

When President Tinubu slipped, his security details and some aides immediately rushed to him and assisted him to regain his balance.

While confirming President Tinubu’s fall during the event, the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun noted that it was just a minor incident.

The Presidential aide explained that the President only missed his step while climbing the parade vehicle but there were no issues as he immediately continued with the ceremony.

“Mr President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues,” he wrote on X formerly known as Twitter.
