FCT Minister Wike Boasts, Says No Apology for Working Against PDP in 2023

FCT Minister Wike says there is no apology for working against PDP in 2023.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, declared that he has no apology for working against the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential ambition in 2023.

The FCT Minister said he worked against PDP because the party jettisoned fairness, equity, and justice.

Wike, who is a former Rivers State governor, said he worked for PDP at the state level but opted against the party during the presidential election.

Featuring on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Wike also declared that the ousted chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State was not his man.

FCT Minister Wike said: “Tony Okocha, not my man. They fought me during the governorship election. He’s my friend does not mean I brought him to the APC.

“For the presidential election, I said I was going to support equity, fairness, and justice and in the others, I will support my party. That was why we won the governorship and National Assembly elections.

“For the presidential election, I have no apology for working against the PDP because I don’t believe in injustice and not allowing other people to participate. I said I won’t support injustice and have no apology to render to anybody.”
