President Tinubu Appoints Widow of Biafra Warlord As Minister
President Tinubu has appointed the widow of Biafra warlord as Minister.
Newsone Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has appointed Bianca Ojukwu, widow of late Biafra warlord, Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, as Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
The appointment of the widow of Biafra Warlord was announced in a statement issued by the Presidency after the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Jumoke Oduwole was appointed as the minister of industry, Trade, and Investment while Bianca Ojukwu was named the Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
While the President relieved five ministers of their appointment with immediate effect, five other individuals were also appointed as new ministers.
The five Ministers sacked by President Tinubu include Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs, Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism, Prof Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
