Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 553 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 553 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, May 30.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 553 COVID-19 cases recorded on Saturday evening, 378 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-52 Delta-23 Edo-22 Rivers-14 Ogun-13 Kaduna-12 Kano-9 Borno-7 Katsina-6 Jigawa-5 Oyo-5 Yobe-3 Plateau-3 Osun-1, southwest Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “553 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-378 FCT-52 Delta-23 Edo-22 Rivers-14 Ogun-13 Kaduna-12 Kano-9 Borno-7 Katsina-6 Jigawa-5 Oyo-5 Yobe-3 Plateau-3 Osun-1 9855 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 2856 Deaths: 273,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to nine thousand, eight hundred and fifty-five (9855) with two thousand, eight hundred and fifty-six (2856) people discharged and two hundred and seventy-three (273) deaths recorded so far.
