PANDEF leader, Edwin Clark is dead.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Edwin Clark died at the age of 97.

This online news platform understands that Prof. C. C. Clark, a family representative, confirmed the death of the former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South leader on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in a statement.

The statement read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, on Monday, 17th February 2025.

“The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”

The death of the elder statesman comes barely three days after the prominent leader of Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Pa Ayo Adebanjo died at the age of 96.
