Popular Abuja Pastor, Apostle Amos Isah Arrested for 'Raping 14-Year-Old Girl'

A popular Abuja Pastor, Apostle Amos Isah has been arrested for ‘raping 14-year-old girl.

Newsone Nigeria understands that the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) has arrested the founder and lead pastor of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Apostle Amos Isah, for allegedly r@ping a 14-year-old girl.

SaharaReporters broke the news on Monday of how Pastor Isah was arrested and detained by the police for allegedly raping raping a 14-year-old girl.

The arrest has stunned the local community, where Isah was known for his charismatic preaching and claims of divine authority.

His church, located behind Noble Noel Academy near Gwagwalada Market, is a popular worship center.

His last church service was on June 18, 2025.

On his Facebook page, Isah claims its purpose is to “touch lives as the Holy Spirit leads” and cites God-given power.

Authorities allege Isah exploited his spiritual influence to abuse the minor.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has refused to grant administrative bail to Apostle Isah. The clergyman had applied for administrative bail pending the investigation of the allegations levelled against him.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, Pastor Isah’s application was declined by the Nigeria Police Force, a source privy to the incident said.

The source said: “On the pastor accused of rape and detained, the police said they will not release him on bail and that they are waiting for legal advice before charging him to court.

“His church members are surprised because he told them he was travelling abroad,” the source added.

Apostle Isah’s arrest, which took place last week, sent shockwaves through the community, as the clergyman was known for his charismatic sermons and claims of divine power.
