Independence Day: Favour Benson Urges Nigerians to Build a Peaceful and Prosperous Nation

JTAH Foundation Director, Favour Benson

The Executive Director of Jashabel Touch-A-Heart Foundation (JTAH Foundation), Mrs. Favour Benson, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

In her goodwill message, Benson described Nigeria’s journey since 1960 as one of resilience, courage, and hope despite challenges. She commended the efforts of citizens, civil society, and government in steering the nation toward greater heights.

“Nigeria at 65 is a testimony to our resilience as a people. Despite the trials we have faced, Nigerians continue to show courage, strength, and hope for a brighter tomorrow. This anniversary calls us to reflect on our progress and recommit ourselves to the ideals of peace, unity, and patriotism,” she said.

Benson further reaffirmed the commitment of JTAH Foundation to continue touching lives positively by driving humanitarian initiatives that uplift the less privileged and foster social development.

She also called on Nigerians at home and abroad to embrace love, tolerance, and collaboration in building the kind of nation everyone can be proud of.

“Let us use this moment to bridge divides, to extend a helping hand to one another, and to commit ourselves to building a nation that truly reflects the greatness we desire. Together, we can make Nigeria the pride of Africa,” Benson added.

“Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!” she concluded with a heartfelt wish.
