Nigeria Records 573 Coronavirus Cases, See Results For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 573 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 573 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, June 15.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 573 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 216 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Rivers-103 Oyo-68 Edo-40 Kano-21 Gombe-20 FCT-17 Delta-13 Plateau-12 Bauchi-12 Niger-10 Kebbi-9 Ogun-8 Ondo-8 Abia-7 Nasarawa-5 Borno-1 Kwara-1 Benue-1 Anambra-1, southeast Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “573 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-216 Rivers-103 Oyo-68 Edo-40 Kano-21 Gombe-20 FCT-17 Delta-13 Plateau-12 Bauchi-12 Niger-10 Kebbi-9 Ogun-8 Ondo-8 Abia-7 Nasarawa-5 Borno-1 Kwara-1 Benue-1 Anambra-1 16,658 confirmed 5,349 discharged 424 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to sixteen thousand and six hundred and fifty-eight (16,658) with five thousand, three hundred and forty-nine (5,349) people discharged and four hundred and twenty-four (424) deaths recorded so far.
