Newsone Nigeria reports that the winning National Lottery Lotto numbers were drawn at 8 pm, while the National Lottery Thunderball numbers were drawn shortly after. The National Lottery says it creates over nine million winners each week, with an average of seven new millionaires. The UK National Lottery was first drawn on November 19, 1994.
Half of all money spent by players goes to the prize fund, with 28% to good causes, 12% to the Government as duty, 5% to retailers, and 5% which has operated the lottery throughout its history.
Since it was set up, the lottery has awarded more than £95bn in prizes and created more than 7,400 millionaires.

It has now been confirmed that no player matched all six numbers to win the £15m jackpot.
However, three players matched five numbers and a Bonus Ball to win £1,063,399 each.
The rest of the money was shared out between other players who matched five, four, three numbers, and so on.
