Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 675 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 675 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, June 22.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 675 COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday evening, 288 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-76 Rivers-56 Delta-31 Ebonyi-30 Gombe-28 Ondo-20 Kaduna-20 Kwara-20 Ogun-17 FCT-16 Edo-13 Abia-10 Nasarawa-9 Imo-9 Bayelsa-8 Borno-8 Katsina-8 Sokoto-3 Bauchi-3 Plateau-2, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “675 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-288 Oyo-76 Rivers-56 Delta-31 Ebonyi-30 Gombe-28 Ondo-20 Kaduna-20 Kwara-20 Ogun-17 FCT-16 Edo-13 Abia-10 Nasarawa-9 Imo-9 Bayelsa-8 Borno-8 Katsina-8 Sokoto-3 Bauchi-3 Plateau-2 20,919 confirmed 7,109 discharged 525 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty thousand and nine hundred and nineteen (20,919) with seven thousand, one hundred and nine (7,109) people discharged and five hundred and twenty-five (525) deaths recorded so far.
