Nigeria Records 790 Coronavirus Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 790 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 790 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, July 1.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 790 COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 120 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Delta-166 Enugu-66 FCT-65 Edo-60 Ogun-43 Kano-41 Kaduna-39 Ondo-33 Rivers-32 Bayelsa-29 Katsina-21 Imo-20 Kwara-18 Oyo-11 Abia-10 Benue-6 Gombe-4 Yobe-2 Bauchi-2 Kebbi-2, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “790 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Delta-166 Lagos-120 Enugu-66 FCT-65 Edo-60 Ogun-43 Kano-41 Kaduna-39 Ondo-33 Rivers-32 Bayelsa-29 Katsina-21 Imo-20 Kwara-18 Oyo-11 Abia-10 Benue-6 Gombe-4 Yobe-2 Bauchi-2 Kebbi-2 26,484 confirmed 10,152 discharged 603 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-six thousand, four hundred and eighty-four (26,484) with ten thousand, one hundred and fifty-two (10,152) people discharged and six hundred and three (603) deaths recorded so far.
