Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 454 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 454 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, July 3.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 454 COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday evening, 87 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Edo-63 FCT-60 Ondo-41 Benue-32 Abia-31 Ogun-29 Oyo-19 Kaduna-17 Delta-16 Enugu-15 Borno-14 Plateau-9 Nasarawa-8 Kano-5 Bauchi-4 Gombe-2 Katsina-1 Kogi-1, northcentral Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “454 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-87 Edo-63 FCT-60 Ondo-41 Benue-32 Abia-31 Ogun-29 Oyo-19 Kaduna-17 Delta-16 Enugu-15 Borno-14 Plateau-9 Nasarawa-8 Kano-5 Bauchi-4 Gombe-2 Katsina-1 Kogi-1 27,564 confirmed 11,069 discharged 628 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-seven thousand, five hundred and sixty-four (27,564) with eleven thousand and sixty-nine (11,069) people discharged and six hundred and twenty-eight (628) deaths recorded so far.
