Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 221 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

NCDC has confirmed 221 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday evening, 18th September 2020, confirmed 221 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.

The new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 56,956 which includes 48,305 discharged cases and 1,094 deaths.

Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with the Lagos recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Abia State and Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
