Newsone Nigeria reports Republican President Donald Trump and Democratic rival Joe Biden will square off on Tuesday in the first of three scheduled U.S. presidential debates.

The 90-minute debate, with a limited and socially distanced in-person audience because of the coronavirus pandemic, begins at 9 p.m. EDT at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, with Chris Wallace of Fox News serving as the moderator.

What is the format of the debate?

The candidates will not have opening statements, and Trump will receive the first question from the moderator.
