Super Eagles have arrived in Nigeria after an ordeal in Libya over the AFCON 2025 match.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Super Eagles players and their officials landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport on Monday night, October 14, 2024.

This online news platform understands that the Nigeria contingent was stranded at the Al Abaq Airport in Libya for several hours after arriving on Sunday in the North African country.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF decided to pull out of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter following the inhumane treatment the players were subjected to in Libya.

The encounter was earlier scheduled to be held in Benina on Tuesday.
