The breakdown of the Kogi Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Primary election results have emerged.

YaahooJournalist had reported earlier that Engineer Musa Wada emerged the candidate of the opposition PDP for the November 16 governorship election in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria.

Wada defeated other aspirants, including Idris Wada, his elder brother who is the immediate past governor of the state.

YaahooJournalist reports that Wada, a younger brother of the immediate past Governor Idris Wada, secured 748 votes while Abubakar Ibrahim, son of a former governor of the state, secured 710 votes.

This online news medium understands that the immediate past governor of the state polled 340 votes to place number three in the election while Dino Melaye, a senator representing Kogi west, came a distant fourth with 70 votes.
