Dembele and Hakimi

9-Man PSG have sent Bayern Munich out of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the 2025 UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain of France, defeated German champions, Bayern Munich, in the quarter-final of the FIFA World Club Cup on Saturday, July 5, 2025, to advance to the Semi-finals of the competition.

Desire Doue opened the score for PSG in the 78th minute, after which substitute Ousmane Dembélé sent Luis Enrique into the Semifinals of the FIFA Club World Cup with a 90+ minutes strike from a fabulous assist from Hakimi to dismantle the German champions.

The win means PSG will play either Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund in the Semifinal of the Club World Cup.

After his goal, Dembelé celebrated like Diogo Jota. The French star celebrated PSG’s second goal against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup, reminiscent of how the Portuguese forward celebrated his goals.
