Again, Nigerian Military Aircraft Crashes
Nigerian Military aircraft has crashed.
Newsone understands that a Nigerian military aircraft has reportedly gone down with the location given as “somewhere in Kaduna State”, northern Nigeria.
A report monitored on DAILY POST by Newsone Nigeria quoted a source to have said that the crashed Nigerian aircraft is an Alpha jet.
“The fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa capital, this morning to go clear bandits”, the informant added.
Air Commodore Edward Gabwet, Nigerian Air Force spokesman, could not be reached as at press time while the Special Assistant to the Defence Minister, Mohammad Abdulkadri did not take calls.
Meanwhile, Newsone understands that Nigerian military has recorded a number of crashes in 2021 alone.
Newsone reports that an air mishap claimed the lives of serving Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and other officers in May.
This was before a Minna-bound military jet crashed, killing all 7 people on board on February 21, and on April 2, another Alpha jet crashed in Borno during an operation.
