BREAKING: ASUU Declares Nationwide Protest, See Why

ASUU members have unanimously agreed to suspend the strike.

Newsone reports that the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) is locked in a marathon meeting to decide if the union should suspend its eight-month-old strike or not.

A report monitored on TheNation by Newsone Nigeria, quoted a member of the National Executive Council of ASUU, to have said that the majority of the branches of ASUU voted for the suspension of the strike in line with the order of the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division.

This online news platform understands that the NEC member said the meeting is holding at the National headquarters of ASUU located at the University of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that the ASUU marathon meeting over the ongoing strike is still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
